Parks On the Air – Botany Bay Plantation – Mobile Marine Park Activation – Testing Emergency Comms

This is a joint POTA radio park activation between Rich (K4ZRL) and Jim (KO4MNB). This is a mobile marine activation in which we travelled from Charleston to Edisto to activate Botany Bay Plantation, K-3889. We completed this as a mobile marine activation on a Bayliner 185 with a Chameleon 17′ whip, hooked up to an ICOM 7300 and a Dynaplate under the boat as the ground plane.
